Connectional giving—all of us giving together—allows United Methodists to do together what we cannot do alone. We give to generously participate in God’s work and share all that God has given to us. In addition to the gifts you make to Reveille United Methodist Church, second-mile giving opportunities allow you to extend the reach of your generosity to Richmond, to Virginia, and to the world.
When you give on Special Sundays, you enable vital ministries that change the world, one life at a time. Together, United Methodists do remarkable ministry around the world. We care for survivors recovering from earthquakes and storms; we invest, long term, in vulnerable communities; we implement the most effective solutions to diseases like malaria; we equip the next generation to lead the church and society. In all of this, we share the good news of Jesus Christ.
The six special Sundays of The United Methodist Church are: Human Relations Day, UMCOR Sunday (formerly One Great Hour of Sharing), Native American Ministries Sunday, Peace with Justice Sunday, World Communion Sunday, and United Methodist Student Day.
Additional Giving Needs
Everyone can support the vital ministries they care about. In addition to the six offerings requested by The United Methodist Church, Reveille participates in the following offerings:
The Samaritan Program of Pinnacle Living (formerly Virginia United Methodist Homes) provides financial assistance to residents who can no longer afford the full cost of their care. Benevolent assistance has been given in these communities since 1948. The Samaritan Fund offering is received in United Methodist churches annually from Mother's Day through Father's Day. Learn more
