Nominations and Leadership Development Committee
Please consider ways to live out your membership vows by using your spiritual gifts at Reveille in service to God. For more information, contact Doug Forrester.
What role does the Nominations and Leadership Development Committee (formerly the Lay Leadership Committee) play in the structure at Reveille?
The committee’s name is rather self-explanatory. Under the leadership of Lead Pastor Doug Forrester, the Nominations Committee recommends church members for leadership positions and administrative committees. Most leadership positions are for a three-year term. The committee also provides orientation, training, and support to church leaders.
The nomination process relies on matching individuals with particular spiritual gifts to specific roles where those gifts will be most useful. When people are given the opportunity to lead using their spiritual gifts, it creates a more joyful and fruitful experience for both the leader and the congregation.

Living Out Your Membership Vows
By Andy Poarch
Reveille would not exist without the work of hundreds of faithful members. Some members help in visible ways and others assist behind the scenes. What we all have in common is that, as we journey on our path of discipleship, we want to know and serve God more deeply.
Lay and clergy members serve on the Church Council which is the leadership body that discerns the Worship, Grow, and Serve vision and direction of the church, taking into account all age-levels.
The Nominations and Leadership Development Committee identifies leaders and provides training and leadership development opportunities, equipping them for success.
Reveille is an engaged, vibrant congregation that is deeply invested in many ministries, both around the corner and around the world. The challenge is that it takes a lot of helping hands to make all of this happen. The good news is that we are blessed with a large congregation filled with members who have spiritual gifts in a variety of areas, matching our many ministry areas. See the bulletin board in the red carpet hallway for more information.
