High School UMW Circle
All high school girls are invited to join our high school UMW circle, the Anna Oliver circle. Contact circle leaders Helen Boyd, Anna Lyle Collett, Kate Sjovold, or Paige Mudd. The circle generally meets to do outreach projects on the second Saturday of each month. Bring your friends! For more information, contact Kelley Lane.
The Middle School (grades 6-8) and High School (grades 9- 12) classes meet each Sunday, 9:30-10:30 am, in the youth center. High school Sunday school is discussion based, with youth leadership and adult facilitation. Sunday school teachers work in teams of two to three to offer flexibility in scheduling. Curriculum is provided.
Sundays | 5:30-6:45 pm | September-May
The Middle School (grades 6 -8) and High School (grades 9- 12) Youth Groups meet each Sunday, 5:30-6:45 pm, September through May, in the youth center. The weekly meetings offer dinner and opportunities for Bible study, fellowship, and service. Youth Group Counselors provide adult leadership by leading discussions and programs, and supporting trips and overnights.
Each year, Reveille offers confirmation classes for youth in eighth grade and above who have not yet been confirmed. Youth learn what it means to be a Christian disciple and discern whether they are ready to make that commitment by joining the church. It is an active learning experience that includes outreach projects, retreats, and interaction with mentors and parents as part of a comprehensive time of faith exploration. The class meets September-April on 17 Sundays, 9:30 am-noon, including worship participation. Adults are invited to partner with a youth as their confirmation mentor. By doing so the mentor walks alongside their confirmand on their faith journey helping them to grow by sharing their own stories, questions, and personal growth. Mentors also attend retreats, service projects, and occasional class meetings. More about confirmation
Reveille UMC is home to Boy Scout Troop 444, which welcomes all boys ages 11 through 17. The focus of the Troop is teaching and building leadership skills along with outdoor skills related to camping and hiking.
